![]() ![]() ![]() We are Halfway to the Holidays, so Disney is making all sorts of holiday-related announcements. Soon, though, a virtual queue will return to one of these attractions for a limited time. In the past, though, attractions like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT also used the virtual queue system to avoid extreme crowds around the attraction, but after the newness of the rides subsided, the rides switched over and used a standby queue. TRON Lightcycle / RunĬurrently, there are two rides in Disney World that require riders to join the line with a virtual queue system: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and TRON: Lightcycle/Run in Magic Kingdom. Some Disney World rides are so new and popular that one of the only ways to control crowd levels is to utilize the virtual queue system - where guests join a boarding group from their mobile device and do other things around the park until it’s their turn to ride.
